The AONN+ Foundation for Learning is happy to announce two testing opportunities. On Wednesday, November 5 and Thursday, November 6, 2025, we will be offering the chance to take our ONN-CG and OPN-CG exams at the AONN+ Annual Conference. Our certifications are targeted specifically toward the skill set of oncology navigators. They ensure that clinical nurse and patient navigators have the knowledge to competently demonstrate effective navigation services across the cancer care continuum within their scope of practice. The deadline to submit your application is October 10, 2025, so don't delay!
AONN+ Certification Scope: The purpose of the Oncology Nurse Navigator-Certified Generalist (ONN-CG) and the Oncology Patient Navigator-Certified Generalist (OPN-CG) certifications is to ensure that clinical nurse and patient navigators have the knowledge to competently demonstrate effective navigation services across the cancer care continuum within their scope of practice.
Reasonable accommodations for testing shall be provided at no cost to candidates with special medical needs covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act who submit the Special Accommodations Request Form, along with the Documentation of Disability-Related Needs. $150 for AONN+ National Members--excludes Local Navigator Network membership
(Annual National AONN+ membership fees of $150 help support the certification program initiatives; therefore, the application fee structure remains financially equitable for all applicants, as all applicants pay $300.)
